I put on a relaxation program on Monday to help my residents deal with the stress of upcoming midterms. There was tea, facial masks, and techniques for relaxation. We drank some tea and talked about the stress of college and being a young adult. I taught my residents breathing techniques, visualization, and tensing and relaxing muscles. There was relaxing spa music playing as well.

We talked about the emotions that come along with stress and responsibilities of being a college student. We all were able to share some concerns we have for the week and encourage each other to keep up the good work we are putting forth. It was good to be able to vent about everything going on, and be reassured that everything was going to be okay.
